Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Clientboard iOS app and keyboard extension ("Clientboard" or the "App"), made by Maxnxi ("we", "us"). By downloading or using Clientboard you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The App

Clientboard is a customer-relationship tool: it helps you record clients, orders, notes and follow-ups, including from a keyboard you can use in other apps, and it can optionally suggest replies using a third-party AI service.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Clientboard on Apple devices you own or control, including for your own business, in line with these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms. You may not:

• copy, modify, sell, rent or distribute the App;
• reverse engineer or try to extract the App's source code, except where the law allows it;
• use the App or its AI features unlawfully, to send spam, or to harass, deceive or harm others;
• access our server other than through the App, try to bypass usage limits or security, or overload the service.

3. Your data and your customers' data

You own the content you enter. It is stored on your device, as described in the Privacy Policy. When you record information about other people, such as your customers, you are responsible for doing so lawfully: having a valid reason to keep it, telling them where required, and responding to their requests. Do not store or send through AI features payment card numbers, passwords, health data or other sensitive information.

You are responsible for backing up your data. Because data stays on your device, deleting the App or losing the device may delete it permanently. Use CSV export to keep a copy.

4. AI features

• AI features are optional and work only after you give consent in the App. Requests are processed by a third-party AI provider, currently DeepSeek.
• AI suggestions may be inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate. Review every suggestion before you send it. You are responsible for the messages you send.
• AI features may have daily limits and may be changed, limited or unavailable at times.

5. Price

Clientboard is free during its launch period. We may later offer optional paid features (for example a Pro subscription). Features you already use for free at that time will not be taken away. Any purchase will be made through Apple and governed by Apple's terms, including auto-renewal and refunds, and we will show the price and terms before you buy.

6. Third-party services

Clientboard can open other apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram and Messages, and uses Apple services and an AI provider. These services have their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for them. Clientboard is not affiliated with or endorsed by those companies.

7. Intellectual property

The App, its design and the name "Clientboard" belong to Maxnxi. If you send us feedback, we may use it without any obligation to you.

8. Disclaimer

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. We do not promise that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free or that it will meet your business needs, or that reminders will always be delivered.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MAXNXI IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST SALES OR LOST DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR USD 50, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.

10. Ending use

You can stop using Clientboard at any time by deleting it. We may suspend access to online features, such as AI, if you break these Terms or misuse the service.

11. Apple

These Terms are between you and Maxnxi, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its support, maintenance, warranty, or any claims about it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them. Where these Terms do not cover something, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement applies.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will change the date at the top, and for important changes we will let you know in the App. If you keep using Clientboard after a change, the new Terms apply.
